At the moment I’m cutting together a 35S-GFP cassette at the universitie’s lab into a pGreen vector, which we at the Biolab will put into agrobacterium to make a plant glow under UV-light.

However, we are to recieve a DNA design from Genome compiler’s Kickstarter campaign (not online yet, but here’s the provisional link http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1203999018/1717788544?token=3b0a2e3b )  which will make the plant  truely bioluminescent when inserted!!

So actually it depends on the timing if the GFP is used anyways… Because you’ll agree that real bioluminescence is *much* more fascinating than glowing when uv-light shines on it!! So it has top- top priority.
