The newest pics of my glowing fungi…

Unforrtunately it is very very difficult to get a fotograph on which you see the glowing…

But also in the daylight they look interesting. In the marmelade jar they have lack of oxygen, thus the fruit bodies grow long and strangely.

you can see the nodes (white points) where the fruiting bodies will grow…

In the “wilderness”

One trunk I put horizontally, and one vertically.

On the horizontal, colonies of P.Stipticus are growing everywhere…

The bark protected the wood against soil fungi, so only P. Stipticus grows inside…

While on the other one (which was standing vertically)  anything but P. Stipticus is growing…

That is due to that the cut site is exposed to the soil, so moisture from the soil goes into the wood trunk, however, also fungi from the soil go into the wood…
